Rily's Happy Ending

Home Happy Endings

I felt compelled to contribute to this board because I am grateful to Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue for providing me with a wonderful new member of my family.  His name is Riley, and he is the sweetest, funniest, and most loving dog I could have ever hoped for. He is all that I imagined in a four-legged friend.  He is good with other dogs, children, cats, and all the people he meets are his immediate friends.  In addition to my happiness in finding a canine friend through this rescue organization, I was also, duly impressed with the level of care that Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue provides.  This agencies commitment to caring for the rescue dogs while they await adoption is unique and commendable. Valley of the Sun Dog Rescue not only provides superior medical care when needed, but also actively works to find foster home placement for dogs as they await adoption.  Most of these rescue dogs are placed in foster homes where training and loving care is provided to ensure that once these dogs are placed, they will acclimate with greater ease to most households. Since learning of the premium care these dogs receive, and how this organization saves the lives of many animals who would otherwise be “put to sleep”, I have since increased my level of association with this organization. Since I have adopted Riley, I have personally fostered over 20 dogs in my home.   I have also seen a way to combine this association with my professional life by helping to place dogs with the handicapped children I work with. I am immensely pleased with the dog I personally have adopted from Valley of the Sun, and am now proud to be part of this organization by now being a foster parent and an advocate for placement of dogs with special needs children.

Do not hesitate to contact me for a personal reference for this agency.
