Pet sponsorship helps us to purchase unwanted pets from animal control agencies, take care of the special medical needs of an abused and/or neglected animal, or the spaying/neutering of a pet in our care.

Tax-deductible donations in any amount are deeply appreciated, and all funds go directly to the care and medical needs of the pets in our care.

Donations of time and space are just as critical as monetary donations.  We are always in need of the following items as well:

Cleaning Supplies:
We and our volunteer foster care providers are always cleaning…. we need paper towels, window cleaner, laundry detergent (liquid only please), and LOTS of general purpose cleaner for dog cages, crates, etc., etc.  You name it, and we are cleaning it, constantly!

Copying and Printing Services:
We print flyers, adoption contracts, foster care applications, business cards, you name it!  Additionally we are hoping to offer newsletters and mass correspondence.  (Our trusty ink jet printer is getting tired)!

Dog Supplies:
We are constantly transporting animals to veterinary or adoption clinics, or simply “picking up” donated or abandoned animals.  We especially need fold up wire cages, as they allow for neat storage and are strong enough for the larger breeds. We also need collars, leashes, dog and puppy shampoo, dog food, dog runs, and dog houses.

Facility:
This is our biggest wish.  If we had an air-conditioned facility with room for exercise, we would be able to expand our services dramatically.  Currently, all of our prospective rescue dogs have to rely on the availability of foster care space.

Office Supplies:
We use printer/copier paper, both white and colored, pens, writing pads, Post-it notes, manila folders, file boxes and almost any other general office supply item you can name.  We particularly need ink jet cartridges and copier toner.  We use these items at an unbelievable rate and can never have enough on hand!  As an idea, gift certificates through office supply centers would be most welcome and convenient for both parties.

Foster Home Volunteers:
We always need those special individuals to house the rescued animals.  We provide food, shelter and veterinary care.  The foster care providers can, as they are able, either transport the sheltered animal to the adoption clinics, or again, as they are able, pick up the animal.  By using this network of volunteers, we are able to care for and place a much larger number of dogs.  Additionally our volunteers give us feedback as to the disposition, general health and type of family that would be best suited for the dog.  We simply cannot say enough about our foster care providers!

Vans:
We desperately need air-conditioned vans to transport our rescue dogs to and from adoption clinics, pickup sites, and vet clinics.  We are currently using our personal vehicles.
